Field Chickweed (Cerastium arvense)carpets the Carden alvars in June with its lovely white flowers. I was in the Falkland Islands for a few days in Jan. (on my way to Antarctica) & Field Chickweed was in flower there. A little botany trivia for anyone who might be interested.
