Name: Delisle Gender: Female Appearance: She has short tan hair with a bit of a forelock that flops over her forehead and into her dark blue eyes. Her nose is rounded and turns up slightly in that pixie way and wide mouth with a full lower lip. Lis has a soft tan, never the palest but never the darkest, either. Her left front tooth has a slight chip missing off the tip. Defects: None. Age: Twenty Personality: Expressive, emotional and concerned with being 'tough'. Delisle isn't one to unnecessarily restrain herself - what she's thinking is often what's coming out of her mouth. She doesn't have many secrets, but when she does she guards them aggressively. However, whenever she's offended or hurt you can always tell - her characteristically expressive face blanks for a second, hardens and her chin lifts up, ever-so-slightly. When she's angry she often leans forward slightly and her hand lands on her hip. Other times her hands are waving frenetically in the air, jabbing and waving with much enthusiasm. Regardless if Delisle is scared she pushes herself mercilessly to whatever end, all with the obsessed end-goal of 'tough'. She pretends not to be afraid of spiders or bugs but honestly, they creep her out. The dark gets to her. But, classically, to override any fear is anger and all that anger provides enough fuel for her to plow relentlessly forward. She also has a knack for getting what needs to be done, done, regardless of how unpleasant that task may be. Delisle is devoted (and perhaps obsessive?) to her friends and allies. She is vastly generous despite a sharp tongue and often insensitive remarks (she's not opposed to fighting dirty). She's a little odd, has a hard time saying sorry and admitting she was ever wrong but in her little quirks she'll try to make it up. She likes to argue, probably a little too much, and likes to bring up random things to argue about or nitpick. She's an incurable optimist who sarcastically uses pessimism. She tends to rebel against authority at times, especially if the reasoning isn't explained. She tends to be pretty focused and in the moment and sometimes needs to be reminded to keep her cool. Usually, if she's working towards a goal she won't let anything come between her or that goal. You might just have to make that goal clear to her if you have some kind of stake in her behavior.
