To all Retirees,
The Enhanced Cola proposal has been finalized and is ready to be presented. Due to the financial position of the City and our fund, the time is not right to present it. The likelyhood of it being passed is virtually nil at this time. The PBA has paid for the creation of the retiree benefit but will not be presented until such time as it has a chance of being passed. I am on the PBA Committee and have to agree with the decision to hold it at this time. When the timing is right, it will be presented and will be a great retiree benefit, thanks to the efforts of the PBA. This is not good news but it is a reality. So at the right time, it will be presented. That is the best I can advise you all at this time. Larry Vincent Replies: There have been no replies.
