The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Plague sighed as he lifted his head once more, another border call for him to make wasn’t going to take much effort, but Kimani disappearing lately put him n a rather sluggish mood. He was for her and without her, it all seemed rather pointless, although he’d never admit to thinking it, not even to Kimani, after all, she did trust him with her entire family and their wellbeing. He would not fail her, he never had and he never would, to his last staggered breath and the final fumble of his weak paws, he would fight for her. After cleaning Beowulf’s wounds thoroughly, he watched Kimani dance out of the clearing after sorting some things. He burned to go once more and dance with her, just to be by her made his heart beat faster. Still he nodded to her sister, Nephthys and left for a quiet nap, leaving the lynx carcass to rot where it lay. Although his wounds hadn’t been cleaned, he ignored them, like he did with most pain. Her very electric current that seemed to always zap him was pleasurable, but also a pain and in some sadistic, masochistic way, he liked loved the small pain she caused him. She brought out some wild, untamed animal in him, his mind begging him to do things to her, all sorts of things. Nasty, tainted pleasurable erotic thoughts flowed throughout him and he half-dozed, uttering a small whimper every now and then, quietly calling for her from his sleep. But alas, she would not come for some time. He whimpered one more and rolled over, tossing and turning in his troubled sleep. Finally his muddy stained orbs bursting open to the harsh reality of daylight, the feel of her on him lingered momentarily, then disappeared. Damn… Even when she was away she could affect him in all sorts of naughty ways.

He snorted and rolled over, a sleepy eye registering the harsh sun still bating down, made twice as harsh from the snow it reflected off. Plague lay in his hole that he had dug to keep him warm. He scented the air and smelt a newcomer with a pack fae…her name was Queda if he remembered correctly. Which he usually did, he didn’t have not too bad a mind if he said so himself. He usually wasn’t one to gloat, but still smiled in his small achievements so far. His tassels slung over his back dominantly as he thought up crazy ways to get Nephthys to like him. He was, after all, wolf and did, after all, like to be accepted by every member of his new family. Nothing of sound mind came up and he stood shaking the small traces of snow that clung to his fur, he hardly was annoyed by the cold, he had a thick winter coat to keep it at bay. He looked around himself in the small clearing, noticing the snow finally was much more slush than powder between his webbed toes, he also noticed the first few clear notes of Spring Birdsong, he smiled and trotted into the forest, towards the newcomer and Queda. He waited in the thick brush, in a hunter’s crouch; even the wind wouldn’t give away his scent as he listened to them converse. A few words made him snarl. Loose cannon Aeh? The brute had just seared his future here. Plague snapped his jaws, sending the echo of the metallic clip rebounding to them both, his hackles picked and his skull slung low he crept dangerously toward the newcomer, all eye on him. Lips pulled back exposing his full weaponry. Not the usual welcoming show, but this brute was no usual brute. He had problems: So could Plague if you pushed him. His problem would be with you breathing and he had a talent at stopping that particular breathing in a very short amount of time.

Brute, no need to tell me of your problem, I already heard you two talking.

He nodded to Queda, a smile sent her way.

…and like Queda, I’ll also help you with your problem. I’ll give you the best motivation you’ve ever had, more of a deal of sorts. You put one angry paw towards any pack member of mine and your life will suffice as punishment. If you can’t agree to these terms, then stop wasting my time.

He raised a canine brow and waited, ready to either snap is lights out or welcome him with open paws. Either way, he’d watch him closely.
