Hundreds of trees, of all shapes and sizes, make up Novalee Forest. The bulk of the territory lies in the tree-strewn hills, nestled between the cliffs of Paduan and the Rushing Rivers. Water and food are both ample in these parts, and in the daytime, the lands remain fairly safe. The shelter of trees will provide a good place for raising young ones, and will comfortably hold a small herd.
Warnings: Wolves and bears roam the forest, particularly at night, so take caution.
Novalee Forest is aligned with: No One.

G.UERILLA b.ring them down
okay, so g.uerilla here isn't anyone anybody in their right mind would call a softy. he does not have kind eyes or compassionate smiles; in fact, he rarely smiles and his eyes are usually alight only with curiosity and authority. still, he had something in him that was, in one way or another, sentimental. it had developed over time, past his stage of evil and disdain, and into his heart, if only a tiny bit at a time. it was at a point of growth where he felt honest compassion and warmth flow through him at the sight of his children. it was a light spot in his heart large enough, at the moment, only for that sentiment.
still, he seemed to think it was growing. oddly enough, and however unexpectedly, it was enveloping the angrier parts of him. his temper was kept in check these days in a way it never had been before; his eyes no longer held the sadistic flames he had inherited from his demon of a sire. again, though, that does not mean he has the identity of a lover. he is, i think, still a bit away from that. perhaps the right string of circumstances would get him there.
but until then, he would continue to fill the role of a respectable and capable leader.
he nodded as she spoke, realizing it was not too difficult to make such a mistake. novalee forest did not lay far from the arbors, after all; in fact, the string of forest shared by the arbors, the vistas, and novalee forest was one in the same. a newcomer would never have noted the boundary lines.
"i understand. no need to fret."
his voice was calm, and welcoming in some tiny, unintentional way. this, he knew, was a gift; there was no abusing it.
"and you as well, morning glory. since it is a home you seek, perhaps fate has dealt you the opportunity to reside here for some significant reason?"
now this was interesting. g.uerilla almost never - if ever at all - spoke in metaphors or allegories. he was generally very up front; the mares who had come before her were simply invited to remain in the forest outright. there was no hinting or playing along about him, in every case but - for some unknown reason - this one. perhaps the growing of that sentiment was commensing already.
he fell silent as he awaited her response, feeling as though such a word from him might have appealed to her frame of thinking.
[ooc: gah! yours was lovely; mine's terrible. i just got back from break, so i'm a little rusty. but you were waiting so long, i wanted to get something out for ya! the next one should be better! <3]
