Pine Barrens

The Pine Barrens are safe for the homeless to wander.

DESCRIPTION

The Pine Barrens is one of the only regions not ruled over, and is thus safe for those who have no herd to protect them. Anyone can come here and it is a popular place to find a home. The land is flat and the grass is short and very green. Pine trees are growing in perfect lines as far as your eye can see. The sun is nearly blotted out by the cloud-reaching tree tops.
This land is used for "claiming". To "claim" someone you must convince them to go with you, there is no force involved. You can try to force them but they can fight back and refuse you.

In what seemed like no time at all Morrigan was approached by a stallion, who went by the name of Show Time. Normally meeting new horses was accompanied by anxious feelings on her part, but the dawn was so peaceful this day that she couldn't bring herself to be worried.

"I'm Morrigan."

Soft vocals interrupted the quiet of the surroundings. She watched the stallion out of large brown eyes. Was there an invitation to his herd coming soon, or was he a roamer like her?
