Her build is athletic and proportional, her coat healthy and full, her main thick, her tail long and her eyes bright. She stands on the shorter end of the spectrum but not far from mid range and carries herself with a confidence that sometimes makes her seem taller. She displays many motherly qualities and definitely has a soft spot for children. Under all that there is a streak of dominance in her though she is not obsessive about it. She will stand up and make a bid for the top but she won’t fight tooth and nail to get it or to hold on to it if she feels there is another better suited. She also possesses a terribly sharp tongue that she tries very hard to keep under control. Mental/Emotional Strengths: confidence & kindness Mental/Emotional Weakness: children & a sharp (sometimes uncontrolled) tongue History Dellissa had a fairly normal upbringing, her mother was of good standing and she received appropriate attentions from both parents as well as reasonable treatment from the rest of the herd. She remembers playing with other youngsters as a child but never knew any of her brothers or sisters well. She fell in love young with a charming man known as Yukon. They got on well together; he held her in high regard and fought hard to keep her with him. Their two children were raised in a loving environment and Dellissa is proud of them both. Many wandering males found Dellissa attractive though and in the end Yukon finally lost her. She was taken away by an older male after five years with Yukon. Her captor called himself Vogue and though she fought her chains at first she came to respect him and call him friend. He died of a heart failure after only a year leaving Dellissa to wander alone with child, a child she lost to a hard birth not long after. Now she has traveled to the lands of Black Rabbit and plans to start over once again. Act One Life in the young land of Black Rabbit began slowly for Dellissa. She made a few friends here and there, scoped out the herds and finally decided to start her own rather than waiting for a stallion to come along and claim her. Of course she intended to bring a stallion or two into the herd as well as other mares for the ways of the Amazons have never agreed with her. It all got off to a good start, the land had potential and there were plenty of perspective herd members. Then came Shadow and though she promised herself she would never fall in love again it happened and he was irresistible, where Yukon had been charming and Vogue unfailingly kind, Shadow was dynamic, intriguing and powerful…almost a perfect match. Almost only because Dellissa has always demanded a certain amount of loyalty and dependability from her men, Shadow was neither. In the end he abandoned her so with nothing to tie her to Black Rabbit and unwilling to live with the shame in the face of those she’d come to know she set to traveling again.
