The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Plague loped quickly from the meeting, technically, he hadn’t called it a close, he just simply excused himself, placing his Zeta, Baroq, in charge while he was away, not that he would really have much to do, he just simply knew it was appropriate to help prevent anything breaking out, or if that was the case, it cleared things up faster when a ranked wolf dealt with it. Firestorms howl to a newcomer had made him travel faster than the usual pace, which was actually already faster than the usual pace for average wolves. When he got back, he’d simply look at Baroq to determine if anything had happened, the brute obviously was fairly intelligent and obviously physically capable.

He slowed down as soon as he scented Firestorm and sighed, he did truly treasure her and her family, and she had kept Nephthys from possible death and Kimani too. He felt proud to be in such a tight knit, loyal pack, where the wolves weren’t hesitant o give their lives for their alpha’s, some may see it as wrong, but that was how Plague saw the world to be. Wrong…with lots of right things in it. He, in turn, would equally fight to the death for each and every pack member, although it was already part of the job, he still felt like he was gaining their trust and he promised them he’d never do anything, anything at all, to lose it.

He slowed, dropping into a hunter’s crouch, moving stealthily among the brush, not even Firestorm would hear or see him, his eyes were dark amber with muddy streaks and even they were camoflourge, is coat was better for night work, but still, he blended in perfectly with every dark shadow there was. He stepped out, hearing enough of their conversation, he wasn’t surprised the little one had still not submitted, it couldn’t really be expected of her to do so. He nodded to Firestorm and ran his length along hers, wanting to comfort her about Beowulf. No doubt she was at this very moment worrying about him. He nodded in the direction he could smell she came from.

I’ll come by later to check on Beowulf, go now, back to your mate. I’ll take care of the little one until I find her someone suitable.

Plague smiled and he gave her an encouraging nudge.

Don’t worry about the pack meeting either, you all need to be with him…

Plague spoke with confidence and gave her another nudge in his general direction, then turned his attention to the pup as Firestorm most likely sped off, back to her family. He turned to the little one and cocked his head at her and lowered himself to the ground, making his huge frame much smaller, although still quite large compared the pup, she could probably now look at him without looking up too much.

Hello Amaroq. Would you like to come with me so we can find someone to look after you?

He slid his huge ebony paw forward as a friendly gesture, showing it was okay to touch him. He waited for her to come to him, not wanting to scare her, knowing he could look quite ominous without trying.
