I agree with Jason. I dont know why people dont want to compete against Rick and try and beat him. Ever since getting a decent dog I have wanted to get him to Ring III so I could travel to a trial where he would be and give it a go.
I think winning a championship without all the best dogs in the US over something like this is like having your first real kiss be with a sibling. Sure it might be nice and warm and hell it might even turn you on a bit, but is it really something you want to brag to your friends about?? I mean you have NARA people eyeing that trophy like a fat kid eyes a free plate of cupcakes, but you might as well put an astrik by the win if all the best dogs arent there. Then you have Rick getting a good piece in France but comes back and makes out with his sister (so to speak) for the ARF title. You might as well put a great big "who gives a crap" sign next to that win. I dont really understand why both sides dont want to really prove they are the best. Me I will take the hot blonde in forth period math with the big rack (again so to speak, go ahead and add your own fantasy person here) I know I will never really have a chance, but the best part sometimes is the thrill of the chase.
