The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Can you trust? (Beowulf, Esper, and Amaroq)

Firestorm watched as Plague appeared all of a sudden. She looked to her alpha, and bowed her head in greeting. He spoke to her in a soft voice, and she listened to his command. Before she grabbed the deer carcass peice she offered Plague her rabbit in return. She knew it wasn't much, but she was still going to do what she could. Than with a simple nod she picked the carcass up before hurrying off to find her family. She would call for Amaroq once she made it to the clearing where her mate and son were. Her tail rose into delta position with a flick as if saying later to Plague.

As she travled she couldn't help but to think of Beowulf. She still felt horrible that she hadn't been there to help them. Her mate had gotten the worse of the attack, but Nephthys wasn't so lucky that she didn't get harmed. No she had some wounds as well, but however minor they were Firestorm still felt quilt. Her mate may not even survive, and it was hurting Firestorm every moment that dragged on. The longer it took him not to wake up, the more chance he wouldn't make it. Tears blurred her vision for a moment before she forced them away. No, she was tired of crying. Instead she was going to pray and hope that somehow and someway Beowulf would make it through.

Ninety percent of her mind was on him as five percent were on Esper and Amaroq each. She worried that they might not get along, but she wouldn't abandon either one of them. After all she was their 'mother', and she planned on taking care of both of them. At least to the best of her possibility. At least she knew Beowulf would make a great father... if he woke up. Soon she came upon the clearing where the lynx had attacked her mate, old Queen, and the pup, Zanzibar. The smell of blood still hung lightly in the air, but not as bad as when it first happened. Trying to ignore the smell she hurried on to where Beowulf lay still unawake. She glanced to where Esper should still be, and dropped the carcass peice near him. She waited to see if he could tear the peices up himself, or if he would need her help.

Raising her maw to the sky Firestorm let loose a low howl that would carry simply through the packlands. She was calling to, Amaroq, who would be joining their family. She just hoped that her mate and son would approve. Than she began to pace lightly as she watched Esper and Beowulf. Not to mention keeping a look out for Amaroq to show up. Than she spoke to Esper as she passed him and the carcass. However before she spoke she licked his head in a comforting way for both of them. She really hoped that Esper wouldn't have to go through the pain of losing his 'father'. It was bad enough he had lost his real parents at such a young age. He might think that the whole world was nothing but death. Her voice filled the air in a soft way as she glanced to her son, and she was also seeing if he was having any luck with the food. Surely, he was hungry by now, she thought. Than the gray lupine continued on pacing without stopping.

"Esper, there is another pup comming by the name Amaroq. I will be taking over the role as her mother, and I hope you will come to accept her. If not than please simply be nice to her. She's really sweet."

Firestorm knew they might not get along anyways. Sibling rivarly was common, heck even her and Coal got into it when they were kids. It wasn't unusual to Firestorm, and she wouldn't be surprised if Esper and Amaroq fought sometimes. However, she still hoped that they would come to terms and love each other like siblings. Stopping for a moment Firestorm continued on thinking to herself. That's how she could do these days was hope. Firestorm kind of wished that the lynx had never strayed into Blossom Forest. She also wished that she had strayed across that path earlier than what she had done. Now all she could do was wait for her mate to awake, or pass on peacefully. With a sigh Firestorm lowered her head before she went back to pacing once again.
