The vacancy on the Pension Board was announced at the last pension meeting.
There are 3 fire fighters running,
1. Dan Lombard,
2. Jim Gilligan
3. Don Adwell.
The Retirees Association had it’s monthly board meeting June 9th and Don Lombard attended. The other 2 candidates are meeting with our board on Thursday June 11th at 4 PM. You are welcome to attend the meeting at the church (Larrick Hall).
Re absentee ballots. The Pension office handles that, they send a notice and give info on how to get an absentee ballot.
We will be using our email system once we have talked to all 3 candidates. We are doing our best to get the info we need on the 3 candidates. In fact, our board has had to meet twice to accomplish this goal. Due to candidates work schedule, we were not able to schedule the 3 candidates and the retirees board all on the same day.
Our board will get the info out on who we feel is the best candidate and it will be online on 6/11, after the meeting.
The vote is set for June 16, 17 and 18. Absentee ballots can be obtained from the pension office and submitted through June 15.
Please take time to come to Larrick Hall and meet the candidates.
