Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

"That didn't take too long," FireSight said. ThunderPaw looked around. "I don't see SparkleClaw anywhere," she said. "SparkleClaw!" the tiger called. SandWing took to the air to look for SparkleClaw. She didn't find a young tiger, but she did find a den. She flew down to the den and looked around. There were pawprints, and a pile of several pieces of food, definitely for a carnivore. She flew outside and told ThunderPaw and FireSight, "I found a den, and I think SparkleClaw was in it. It isn't even halfway up the mountain, so the climb shouldn't be that hard." ThunderPaw and FireSight started stepping up the mountain, carefully making their way to where SandWing was flying. It didn't take long before they reached the den. FireSight sniffed the den, and then said, "SparkleClaw wasn't the only one in here. I can scent another tiger." ThunderPaw also scented the other tiger. "At least SparkleClaw now has a friend," she said. FireSight wasn't completely convinced. "What if that tiger isn't a friend?" "The two tigers were in here at the same time," ThunderPaw explained, "and there's no drop of 'that red liquid' that comes from...uh, the inside out, sometimes." FireSight realized that the leopard had a point. "Let's wait here a bit, in case she comes back," SandWing suggested. FireSight decided to sleep and see what his next dream was going to be about.
