Hi Sarah,
I recommend taking some raw oatmeal and grind it up really well. Then bring some water to a boil and turn the heat off. Add a 1/3 cup of the ground oatmeal and a spoon full of black walnut hull powder to the water, stir and cover. Allow it to cool. Then rub the mix over the affected area. The oatmeal will soothe the skin and the black walnut will kill any infection. It will also stain, but that will eventually go away.
The antibiotics cause the diarrhea by killing off the good flora. Killing the flora can also cause bouts of constipation. Giving the dog kefir regularly will help to build back up the flora..
As for the grass, I am not sure what to do for this. The problem is from high nitrogen in the urine. Adding some alfalfa or nettle leaf to the dog's diet may help. People have reported that dry foods create less of a problem than wet foods. Dry foods are higher in minerals like nettle leaf and alfalfa. Worth a try, and the herbs are great for dogs either way.
