The Alleys

These are the Back Streets. This is a part of the town that is rather run down and full of twisting alleys and streets bordered by crumbling buildings. This is where the packs of dogs and stray animals hang out most of the time. It is possible for you to find a mate here that is a dog, although it is hard. There is some food, but it is still very dangerous. A lot of times, humans here will capture wolves and keep them as guard animals, or for dog fighting clubs.

When asked by Breeze if he was leader, Blaze had to chuckle to himself. "Heck, no. I'm certainly not leader. I was just passing through, and ran into you." He sat down, noticing that the other dogs wouldn't look him in the eye. This pleased him that they were being somewhat submissive.

When the other dog Kalion arrived from the opposite end of the darkened alley, Blaze stood. When he realized that this dog was of authority, he layed down and kept his tail low, avoiding his eyes. Kalion walked with confidence and authority.

When he asked if the were all seeking acceptance, Blaze wondered how he should respond. He had had no intention of joining a pack when he had been walking through the territory, but now he thought that maybe he should see. It might be nice to have a pack, and not be on his own all of the time. "I guess that I'll come." He was a bit nervous, because he had heard that the Shadow Lurkers were a fierce bunch, but he would take his chances.
