I couldn't quite tell from your post - Is cellulose bad? The insoluble fiber I occasionally take in powdered form is cellulose powder, a few grams in a teaspoon.
I'll look into schisandra berry powder. Is this sweet in any way? and therefore is it relatively safe considering the diverse range of potential conflicts such as hypoglycemia and candida?
I'm also dairy intolerant so would be uncertain with kefir. Finding the right source of probiotics has been tricky, as too strong a probiotic contributes to die off and therefore more stress on the liver. Too weak and it's difficult to gauge the effectiveness, if any.
