She still has the skin infction and it seems like it is getting worse, she goes crazy when her e-collar is off and starts chewing at herself. Do you think it may be allergies, if so what could we do. Also her lymph nodes in her back legs have been swollen and firm for a while too, do you think this could be because of the skin infection. We are thinking we are going to take her to the derm doctor but dont want to do anything harmful to her like more antibiotics or allergy shots if it is allergies. She has never had any allergies in the past to food or anything. Also I have read that dogs can have flea bite allergies and I think I may have seen one flea and my other dog but havent seen anymore and dont see signs of them being there. Maybe one could have bit her and she is having a reaction but would it last this long. This all has been going on for over 2 months now. I think her coat is shedding due to the skin problem too. If you have any advice I really appreciate it.
