Name: Levi
Gender: Male
Appearance (include eye/skin/hair colour): Pale fair skin, white hair short and feathered, bright light-blue eyes. His features are sort of soft and feminine, or at least more feminine than the average guy
Defects (only required if the character has any): He has some lashes across his back which he is hard pressed to discuss with anybody
Age: 18
Personality: quiet, kind, friendly, and he'd do just about anything for somebody else, but does very little for himself in terms of love and relationships. He's been a physical comfort for others many times, but has never sought after it for himself.
History: Levi doesn't talk much about his past, because he doesn't like to talk much in general. He mostly listens to other people, helps them with their problems, without any regard for his own or really any care to lessen his own pain and lonliness. He smiles even when he's in pain to reassure others, he'll see to another's injuries even if his are far worse, he only has sex when another asks it of him, and never suggests it or chases after it for his own needs. He is gay, and while he does not sleep with women he does offer them kindness and care when they need it. He's very kindhearted, and he's always tried to keep from showing pain in front of others.

He doesn't talk about the scars on his back, but they are the reason that he's so secretive about his pain. Somebody took advantage of his willingness to help, and when he did show pain it only got worse, leading to the marks on his back. He's also very adverse to relationships because of this, almost afraid of them. If something starts to become too close for him, he tends to push away to avoid further pain, or another experience.
Sample post:

Walking was getting to be irritating, all the walking. He envied the fae with wings, being able to fly. His legs were sore and stiff, and at the moment he was sitting in some tall grass, resting. His eyes were sharp, bright in the waning sunlight of the afternoon, the burning golden color of the fading sun catching and making them seem tinted with just the faintest seafoam green. His hair was very bright, platinum in color. As his mind wandered to the benefits of wings he flinched slightly, his back tensing a little. No, on second thought, he was glad he didn't have wings. Wings would mean he couldn't keep his back covered, and those scars weren't really something he was eager to show off.

How long had he been on his own...? How many years had it been? Two? Three? no, no Four... His eyes flashed with shadows of thoughts and memories, gaze glassy and distant as mind left body and went on a stellar trip down memory lane. He was completely vulnerable like this, but then again he had always been vulnerable. Sure, he might not seem to take a lot of damage these days, but he was so fucked up deep down. Bottling up all that pain really didn't do him any favors. It left him tired, sometimes he even felt like he was about to lose it in front of people. Hell, sometimes he did, but they didn't really know it when they saw it.

His heart fluttered with memories, his pulse raced with heated days long gone, fingers trembled as events rolled through his thoughts like an old home movie, images occasionally going out of focus, flickering into blank white. The scars had brought him to this, to these memories. He was a good guy, really. He tried to help people however he could, but he used to be willing to start a relationship. It had been the first time he had used his body to help somebody, and he had been very young, too young some people believe. It's hard to believe you could get to trust somebody so much and still have them turn around and stab you in the back.. well, metaphorically speaking. See, those weren't stab-wounds that scarred up his otherwise smooth back. They were practically medieval, like being bound in the stocks and lashed. They weren't really thin either. They were the first thing you noticed if he turned around, and yet he wondered if he would be able to remove them.

He'd had them for so long already, and whenever he thought about them they reminded him of the reasons that he no longer allowed himself to become attached to people like that. It could lead to some pretty nasty stuff. As pain scrept its way into his heart again the grass around him began to crackle and stiffen, spreading from his hands which propped himself up and outward. Yellow summer grasses were becoming white and opaque, and the sound of their crystallizing began to grow in volume. Eventually it shook him out of his thoughts and he looked around with slight horror at the fortress of treacherous needles he had created. Even the ground was slick with a thin layer of polished crystal. Carefully he stood, receiving a few cuts on his arms as literal blades of grass caught in his clothes. The worked his way out of the long grass to the beaten path, looking at the spot he had been resting. In the low sunset, the grass swayed in a gentle breeze, where as the place he had been sitting swayed uncertainly, a few fragile blades breaking with the pressure of the breeze. As they struck each other, a sound similar to bells and chimes carried on the wind... Yet beautiful as it may seem, glittering in the low sun, Levi found the sight somewhat depressing. All around the fields were flowing and caressing like rivers of heat and passion set ablaze in the setting sun, but his place in this world was not passionate, or warm, but a cold fortress of beautiful fragile spikes that would not bend to the wills of the natural wind. Sometimes he hated how many metaphorical moments his power created for him, because all it did was make him feel even more out of place.

With a sigh he turned and continued further into Shaman, leaving his bitter isolated crystal patch behind. He needed to learn better control... Maybe he would learn that here... With a smile he lifted his gaze down the long road. That smile. It held very little meaning for him, since 9 times out of 10 he was forcing it. Truly, Levi did not want to smile so much. He shoved his hands in his pockets and trudged on. It couldn't be that far, could it?

His senses were still dull, and if it weren't for his unpredictable tendency to make things shiny he would have believed he was human. He was pretty good looking, a curse and a blessing all in one, but he wasn't exceptional, or especially otherworldly. He dropped his head to watch the ground pass beneath his feet, as distances seemed considerably shorter that way. Just one more step, okay now another one. he would get there one day. He wondered what it would be like there, sighing softly, pulling his hands from his pockets to embrace himself against the cool night air that slowly settled in. He was used to being alone though, so this really shouldn't be any different.

It was like a monotonous march in his head, left right left right, and yet he still had that sweet smile on his face. Maybe things wouldn't be that bad... Yeah, frankly, he had no idea what he was walking into...

Anything else you wish to include: I might draw a picture for him later, and his focus is really on the scars anyway, but as of right now I can find no picture with a face to photomanipulate that would fit him, and I'm extremely picky, so for now this is going to be his layout ><; yes I did the scars myself ^^ The only pictures that come close I can't actually alter D:

And yes, I am using his coin immediately for a power, which is crystallization (not to be confused with freezing, which is ice, but actually turning things into crystal, but I planned for it to be linked to his emotions and unstable, and he CAN undo the process but it exhausts him to do so, especially if the area is large. Still, he'll usually try at least, even if it leaves him sleeping for a day or so XD
