Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

And so they wandered...

Black Angel wasn't particularly fond of company. She might have preferred it as a pup, but she was very sickly in those days. The slender white fae had found someone that managed to keep her interest. The result was two beautiful pups, one of whom stayed with Mugen now, and the other with her. Black Angel smiled one of her rare smiles at the thought. She and Mugen spent some time together until Danika and Emiko no longer required the constant attention of their mother.

The white fae wasn't suprised at the appearance of either of her daughters. She took interest in Danika's appearance though. Rarely did members of her family have odd markings. But her little morning star did. In fact, it was how the young fae got her own name.

Danika was trailing behind her mother. It wouldn't be long before the teen would venture off on her own, find a pack or even a mate. Until then, the blue-grey wolfess watched after her mother. She did look much like her father, right down to one of her eyes. They were mis-matched, one a gentle mahogany and the other a bright green. It was the one eye, and the pearly white star that outlined it that gave Danika her name. Indeed, she was like a morning star in her own way. Bright and there to look over those who needed her.

Right now, it was her mother who needed her. Danika learned early on of the seizures and fits Black Angel went in to. That's why she still stayed close instead of going with her father and sister. She wondered sometimes if they knew, as it was a secret her mother had always kept to herself.

Black Angel didn't seem to care. The seizures were few and far between, but they always seemed to be quite violent when they did happen. Yet after she managed to come out of them, it was as if it never happened. Today was no different. The mother daughter pair was trekking along, content with the crisp air that seemed to naturally surround Ice Mountain.

It was a quiet day, one in which the duo could enjoy each other's presence without conversation. It's not like either spoke to each other often anyway.
