Ok I just read all of these. Now I don’t consider myself a pro but I do consider myself a good angler with plenty of skill as well as tackle to use. A little of everything, but for some reason I have not been able to figure the lakes out. I primarily fish western branch and Lake Prince (would fish Burnt Mills but can’t find the ramp help).
However yes this is my first season on these lakes maybe that’s just it because back home I know my lake from experience on them so I know where to throw and what most of the times. But I’m just in a rut or just need to learn these lakes better over time. This is the only reason I have not been in any opens just because I can’t seem to find them. Now I do not believe nor blame this on the tourney since that is crap in my opinion. But I would like to know how you all are pulling these bags.
I mean I would love to get out on the lake sometime with someone who knows them so well and kind of guide me on the lakes that would be greatly appreciated. The first post reply from Tim said to just ask if someone is having summer time blues. I have mentioned it before in replies looking for where to fish and what to throw out there with little response or help like I was anticipating.
So I am asking again and you can either reply here or my email or even call doesn’t bother me none. What to fish on Western Branch or Lake Prince colors types of lures? Where are they shallow, deep, against the bank, in the deep open? I mean throw me a bone here it’s been very frustrating and making me question my abilities and want to just stop. I have landed one 4.5 pounder and one 5.5 pounder in Western but mostly just a couple small ones very few and far between so it’s very discouraging. Thanks a lot for any help.
