The Temple of Paduan is the Temple of the Flamebearers, those who possess the stone of Ruby. Though not the god of Darkness, Paduan is still a bitter creature with a short fuse.

XY | Seven Years | 16.1 hh | Hybrid Fire V | Ruby |Two Hundred and One Tokens Well, well, well. Do we have someone who is intimidated by a little competition? Capone’s inky auds lean forward as he listens to Henry’s words… ignorant words nonetheless. A slightly amused smile appears on his features, it would be quite fun to push his buttons, Capone suspected. I mean, first of all, he had taken Capone’s words literally “I do not own the place”. Well no duh, Capone knew very well who did own the place, Paduan. Second of all, he insinuated that Capone did not have “balls”. Considering this guy was fairly new to these lands, my painted boy could not really blame him. He had no idea that the spawn of the statuesque painted figure standing before him had sired a good number of children, second in number only to the famed Gobardon. Yeah, where were this guy’s kids? Especially (though Capone did not yet know this of Henry) since apparently he lived for sex and sex alone. My boy’s head cocked slightly to the side and opened his mouth to speak to Henry once more, and probably with a much less friendly tone than before, when a dappled male joined the group. Instantly forgetting the little pest that was Henry, Capone turned his attention to this newcomer, a grin spreading across his features. It appeared that this would be the rebuilding of the Rajput, and that also meant they only needed one more member to secure the reassembly of the group. Capone gave a slight respectful bob of his head toward the one known as Muse, but before he could introduce himself, Henry butted in. Well, this guy was going to be nothing more than a pain in his side. Especially with his little speech including “”you are welcome to join”. Who exactly gave him the authority to say that? As far as Capone was concerned, until a King was named only Paduan held the power to accept individuals into the Rajput group. But whatever. He did not catch the scathing look that Henry shot him, but that was simply because he had decided, for the sake of the idiot who had decided to make Capone an enemy, that he would simply ignore him for the moment. And then came a somewhat familiar voice. Capone had not seen the bay appaloosa stag approach, and in all honesty, he did not recognize the young masculine by appearance. But his scent was familiar and it did not take my painted boy long to place it. Dimitri. A broad, genuine grin spread across the trickster’s face at the realization. Dimitri had indeed outgrown him, but he still had a bit of the tall, awkwardness that came with youth. There was no doubting who was the elder of the pair. Well, look who we have here. And all grown up too. Have you decided to join the Rajput rebels? In all honesty, Capone was quite pleased to see the kid again. He had, after all, been just like a son to Paduan’s Guardian, as well as being a fire wielder himself. Most of Capone’s children, and all of his sons had since disappeared from these lands, so having a young comrade with him in his quest to fulfill Paduan’s wishes gave him an odd sense of comfort. The black and white warrior considered briefly asking about Dimitri’s mother, and the daughter he shared with her. But decided that conversation was better saved for another time. Slight movement caught his attention yet again. Dimitri’s appearance brought their numbers to five, the minimum number needed to reopen the Kingdom. However, yet another figure appeared from the shadows. The silvery male seemed young and was a bit tentative entering the group. Perfect. That was the kind of members the Rajput needed to regroup. Young, impressionable, moldable. Not individuals with preset agendas… though Capone would take whatever he could get. Capone gave a bob of his head, motioning him to come forward and fully join the group. But he did not introduce himself just yet, because yet another equine entered the temple. Capone could smell Courant’s follower immediately, and felt his spine stiffen slightly. Sure the last Rajput King had been claimed by Courant, but my two hued stallion was fairly certain that Paduan would not take kindly to her followers entering his temple. This was not the only thing that caused Capone unease. This newcomer had a distinct feminine fragrance about it, mixed nearly equally with a more masculine smell. What the fuck? Chocolate eyes watched the figure move towards the group, its movement clearly feminine. Capone watched as this freakish newcomer eyed Henry, and watched Henry eye him back, with almost full on desire playing on his features. A snort escaped Capone’s nostrils as he watched this take place. The Rajput had long been called the “fags” of Hoof Prince. Did they really want members who would keep that rumor circulating? No. Another new voice and smell appeared from the shadows and Capone decided he would deal with the homosexuality issue later. Right now he needed to focus on the situation at hand. Miles was a familiar face and Capone’s mood immediately brightened at the sight of him. He knew Miles would be a valuable asset to the new Rajput ranks and he nodded his head towards his old comrade in recognition and greeting. He faintly realized that Henry had made yet another ignorant comment, but chose to ignore it in favor of counting their numbers. How many do we have now? Eight? Henry, Chico, Capone, Muse, Dimitri, Dangereuse, Vivian, and Miles. Quite the gathering, and surely a bigger number than the Valkyries had managed to gain. Next came the curly-coated paint. Capone recognized him immediately. Priest had resided in the Isles at the same time as Capone had. In fact, the wretched beast had attempted to kill his daughter, and would have had Capone not intervened. He cast a scathing look at the creature, and his ears moved slightly towards his skull as the ignorant beast spoke. However, before a reply could be generated, Capone sensed the presence of his god. Paduan had finally arrived. The buckskinned deity also gave a sideways glance at the odd, half-female half-male smelling creature, before turning to sink his teeth into Priest. Capone dipped his head low in respect to his God, before tilting his ears forward to catch the words of the others. Paduan, obviously and understandable pissed, told Priest to “get the fuck out of his sight” while Muse, and Henry chimed in with their own insulting quips. Perhaps it had to do with Capone’s already cemented idea of Henry, but he thought that while Muse’s jab had been original and witty, that Henry was simply riding off the coat-tails of Muse’s joke. Oh well, forget about it Capone… your obvious dislike of Henry is not our concern right now. And now the meeting could officially begin, now that Paduan had arrived. Now the spotlight goes to Chico. Capone listens silently, inky auds tilted forward as he listed to the elder’s words. Though my painted boy knew there was truth in what Chico was saying, he was also slightly offended at the notion that he had joined the revival group simply for power or fame. Capone had actually been considering joining the band of rebels for quite some time, not to mention that most who knew anything about Hoof Prince’s history had at least heard his name. He did not need fame or glory. He needed a home, and the Isles were finished for him, the North was not his style, and he obviously did not have the genitalia required to reside with the Valkyries. His options were limited. Priest was the first to speak out after Chico’s heartfelt speech, with the same ignorance in which he spoke before. Capone had no response for the curly’s words. Vaguely he registered the presence of yet another newcomer, but since this newcomer apparently had nothing to say, Capone parted his black lips and offered his two cents to the group and his god. I am Capone, for those of you who do not already know me. Chico speaks some truth, though I disagree with some of his ideas. Were it not the possibility of attaining a throne, we might not have met the numbers we have now. I am positive that the nine of us can very successfully rebuild the Kingdom, back to its original glory, to serve its original purpose… Chocolate eyes scanned the group. Capone was really not one for big, motivational speeches. But he did feel a certain strong connection with the Rajput Kingdom, whether the individuals who had actually lived there before believed it or not. He held a strong belief that he was finally on the road to being where he belonged. He would put aside his differences with these males, to make sure this reinstatement was a success. Each of us must have the desire and the drive to do what is necessary once we return to the Volcano. And if all you are interested in is power… a position… and you will not stand by us if you do not receive those things immediately… well then you might as well get out of our sight and save yourself and us the trouble. For though power is a tempting prize, with power comes responsibility. And in order to live up to your responsibilities you must have some desire to be simply a Rajput, with or without a place of power. Word count – 1,591 ooc – I know it’s long, but I wanted to address everyone. Sorry for the crappiness towards the end… its late and I need some sleep. Go Rajput! P.S. Please don’t be personally offended if Capone doesn’t like your character OR for my use of the word fag. I myself am not a homophobe, but Capone is. C A P O N E Father To Blood Rain x Gemini |
