Hey guys - sorry for disappearing on you all, it's been a hectic week. Unfortunately it doesn't look like things are going to get any better, either; I'm struggling to fit life into my timetable at the moment.
This week was particularly busy because I had to organise and help set up/run my dad's birthday party, which spanned over the weekend (hence no newsletter, sorry about that; will come sometime during this week). That frees me up a little, but as I said, things are still a bit chaotic at the moment.
The good news... some of you may be aware that one of my friends was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. The friend in question is now in the clearing and is set to make a full recovery. Can't tell you what a relief that is x]
The bad news is that my dad is facing disciplinary at work (for ridiculous reasons I won't even go into). Since he's the only full-time worker in my family, if he loses his job it might mean I can't afford to go to university next year. Everything's all a bit up in the air at the moment.
Shaman-wise... as I'm a bit vacant at the moment obviously, I'm looking to the mods to keep things ticking over. Mallos posts are coming guys - I promise - but they're not my major priority right now. If you need to get hold of me urgently, ask Pixie/Innocent to text me because I haven't been checking my emails.
This October I want to run a cancer awareness week on Shaman. Haven't thought that much about it, to be honest... the ideas I had were everyone having special coloured HTML (blue for boys to resemble testicular cancer and pink for girls to resemble breast cancer), and maybe putting little memorials to those who have been lost to cancer in their layouts and such? Just speculating at this point. If anyone has any ideas/wants to organise anything, let me know.
Sorry to be a bit vague and sporadic >.< Things should settle down a bit once I've got university applications out of the way, and I'm planning to send them off in October. Just hang in tight<3
