Chris, being UK based I was able to sign up to Spotify for free with adverts (in between tracks approx 2 minutes worth per hour) and have since subscribed to the premium version for approx $15 a month (no ads).
It's totally changed the way I listen to music and introduced me to some music that I would not have normally listened or have heard of. For example, for some reason Neutral Milk Hotel passed me by and I'd never heard of them. Now I can't get enough of 'In the Aeroplane Over the Sea'.
I no longer download tracks but still purchase the occasional CD.
BT is on Spotify in full force, with only Three Easy Pieces absent, and it's great to have these tracks available at the click of a mouse during one of those mundane days in the office. A real pick me up.
Hope you guys get to check it out in the near future and more importantly I hope you guys are going to benefit somehow by get a cut of the tracks played. Replies:
