Lanny bit his tongue and remained silent when Dr. Marachek replied to him. He'd pushed things farther than he would have liked with the doctor, and knew he was lucky that she didn't fight back any more than she had. After she had left, he leaned in a little closer to Cassidy and used his other hand to rub along her arm, showing this bit of comforting attention that he hadn't been able to do when Laura was in the room, "No, I'm not going to leave you here alone. It's no big deal anyway." The change in his tones was dramatic, going from semi-lethal to quiet and comfortingly assured. Even if Conan hadn't been next door, he wasn't going to leave Cassidy while she was crying. It was such a rare thing to see out of the girl, and he didn't want to leave her alone for one second when she was obviously going through so much mental torment at the nightmares. He was half inclined to call his brother right now, but if he did that... it was to guarantee things would go down, and Johann's insistence about Ben being a major threat was just enough to keep him from digging the cellphone out of his pocket.
(okay i'm falling asleep here! but i'll be here all day tomorrow, save for updates that i need to get done. i'm debating whether or not to have lanny cause troubles with the wallocks and conan... it's very tempting, lol.
and i've figured out a plot to introduce the new feature at void, but it'll prolly be later on in the day tomorrow before i get it set up)
