Dr. Marachek gave him plenty enough reason not to skimp out on the wheelchair part of the deal, and really drove home the importance when she mentioned Cassidy wouldn't survive another trip to the hospital so soon. "How long will she need to use it?" Everything else, he could handle. The food, the carefully monitored exercise, helping out with anything that would reduce her stress... but her being on the fourth floor, and there being no elevators or ramps, meant a big problem. There was the option of moving to one of the first floor rooms, but Lanny wasn't sure if the repairs on them were entirely finished yet, or if he wanted to even risk moving down there - another flood this late in the season was highly unlikely, but it was something to be concerned about still. "We'll make it work, however we have to. ...do you have a list of food and stuff that she'll need? The sooner I have that, the better."
(that's odd - you'd think he would have mentioned if it were canceled *ponders*)
