IP: 208.53.234.179

*Name: Laelah
*Gender: Female
*Appearance (include eye/skin/hair colour): She's got brown eyes, lightly tan skin, and brunette hair that goes about an inch past her shoulders. she's not very tall, but she's not itty-bitty. she's built small but not anorexically skinny
*Defects (only required if the character has any): none
Age: 15
Personality: she's pretty outgoing, a nice girl but she's got some sass to her. Lae' loves boys quite a bit, especially looking at them. she loves feeling wanted and being held. she doesn't let herself get too close to them, emotionally though, for fear of getting hurt. She's very scared of being alone at night, it's not a phobia, it just freaks her out.
History: eh.

Sample post: Laelah clambered through the rocks. Her faded and destructed jeans had mud over her ankles on the bottoms. She was wearing a green tank top underneath a white coat with a fur covered hood. She had the hood pulled over her head allowing the tips of her brunette hair to stick out the front, blowing in the cool wind with the tan colored fur on her hood. Lae’s hands were covered by a pair of white gloves and her feet were covered by a pair of tan, fur boots. She shivered as she looked across the area she’d come upon. The old ruins were something new to her. She walked towards one of the stones, examining the writing that had been carved into it. She couldn’t read it; it certainly was in a foreign language. Or at least a language she’d never learned.

Laelah never did much writing back home. She was a teenager. She ran around with her friends and clung onto boys. That was her problem; boys. They were her weakness and she knew it. As soon as they glanced into her eyes and she saw them smile she was stuck. They would hold her and cuddle her. The feeling of closeness was one she loved. She could snuggle into their arms and feel okay, feel at home. Boys were always good to her; they never seemed to mind that she didn’t want a serious relationship. Some would look at her funny when she turned their offer for a relationship now, some even got upset with her and claimed she was a user. That wasn’t true, Lae’ just loved being close to you. She wasn’t going to break your heart and she didn’t expect you to break yours. Love was never what she was looking for. The thought of love made her cringe, she’d watched people cry over love. She didn’t want to be like the rest of the teenagers. She didn’t want to sit in her room crying because he told her not-so-kindly to ‘f-off’.

Her father had always told her, “you’re too pretty, Laelah, they’re not good enough.” then he’d pat her head and smile, “Love is for old people, LaeLae. Don’t jump right in, you’ve got a whole life ahead of you.” He was right. She lived by that.

Laelah looked to the sky. She could see the sun setting and the navy-black of twilight setting in. Her brown eyes widened. Her fear of night – being alone at night – made her shudder. She was alone and night was coming. Laelah sat on a word-carved rock watching the distance. Watching the east, not the west. She didn’t want the dark to be able to sneak up on her from behind. She wanted to be able to see it coming; maybe she could run from it. The fifteen year old fairy clutched the rock with her gloved hands, her breathing was already beginning to get heavy. “Oh no…” Laelah’s voice quivered as she watched the sky.
