To All Retirees,
As promised, here is a recap of what happened after the executive session at the pension board. When the Trustees reconvened, Trustee Cindy Miller made a Motion to send a letter to the "OPT-OUT" fund members re settlement. The Motion passed unanimously. What will now happen is that the 243 fund members who "OPTED-OUT" will receive a proposed settlement letter and it will probably include a full release form. We all have to wait to see what the letter actually says. That is the info to date. I only hope that all Retirees can be paid at the same time and before the first of the year.
