The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

He’ only just gotten all the blood off when a female’s howl burst over the canopy, washing into his bells as he sat in the chest high water, enjoying a little soak by himself. He decided to find Kimani after clearing a few that waited at the border and dealing with a couple of pack members calls. Plague sighed as the last sunlight soaked into his coat and he stood and moved gracefully to the bank of the small creek. In one leap he was on level ground and his ebony fur spiked after a couple of long shakes. He still was glossed with liquid, dragging along the tones of his muscled frame, but he already rose to a canter with absolutely no slack in his pace, knowing he would dry off by simply running. It would also keep him warm.

He was still thinking about promoting wolves and thought about Beowulf, who had saved Nephthys, looked a good candidate for a higher rank and this was what he also wanted to discuss with Kimani, the promotion of wolves and perhaps even a pack hunt would be due sometime soon. Plague mulled it over, but cleared his thoughts as he stepped out of cover, it actually took longer to see him than most other wolves, as the long shadows of the evening enveloped his massive ebony frame, leaving his muddy streaked orbs the only thing left in a pool of darkness. Paws stepped forward until he was standing over the wolf, he hesitated a few moments, observing the shape and physique of the fae. She wouldn’t do anything stupid anytime soon, though he did need her to submit fully, throat and belly exposed, to let her stay.

The rain began to pelt down on both of them and while this fae looked rather nervous oin the face of a storm, no reaction could be seen from Plague. He rather liked storms, but his emotionless façade was the best thing for newcomers, plainly showing them they were on his grounds and he could kill them if he pleased. He wasn’t the type to kill for pleasure, well ,not much anyway. Still, Kenji’s recent death had given him more pleasure than he remembered killing ever had. Perhaps, knowing it was for the sake of the pack, he felt it had more meaning. It didn’t really matter anyway, dead was dead.

Submit now or flee into the approaching storm. It’s your choice.

He waited for the fae to submit, he would then bid her free to enter the terra, if she did no with no problem, and do whatever she wished, within reason of course. He would then go on to ask her name. It suddenly brought on a harsher aspect of rain ad they were both completely saturated, as in, couldn’t get any more soaked than they were already. Plague’s ebony banner stayed in its fierce scorpion stance as it had all this time. His lips twitched with every growing few seconds that she did not submit, exposing tiny slivers of his canines.
