Jerry I also opted out for similar reasons. I was concerned from the beginning that Mr. Wayne Lee Thomas would be representing his own best interest over everyone else’s. I did not want to be a party to some slime ball lawyer’s get rich scheme at the expense of the pension and pensioners. When the issue of the 14th check was brought up the pension board in my opinion did the right thing. They sought legal counsel and acted on that advice and paid all the pensioners. We would have already been paid the hold back and interest due if it were not for greedy lawyers. I would rather get nothing than see that sorry sob profit one penny from me and so I rolled the dice and opted out. I would rather represent myself and my own personal interest. In my opinion Mr. Thomas is trying to fleece more money from the pension fund than he has earned or is entitled to. I personally think the 250k the pension board offered him to climb back under his rock is 249k to much.
