H bowed his head again, this time lifting a clawed hand in a theatrical gesture. "You flatter me, milady."

At her question, he raised his head and looked about as if the empty beach may give him an answer. "Are there specific guidelines for meeting new acquaintances under such circumstances? Step one, step two, step three?" He wore a slight, teasing smile.
