The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

[OOC: The small power play is to simply speed things up. Sorry it took so long. Hey, would you like a manip for misty?]

His rhythmic pace soon calmed him, after finding a few strange scents at the border; he had furiously searched for anything inside the pack. Luckily for whatever had been playing chicken with his border hadn’t been stupid enough to continue their minor intrusion. He sighed and picked up his pace, trotting along the border in boredom. He continued on, making sure the border was clear. It seemed the newcomers had given him a break. Plague stopped at large oak, pausing to water it on three legs and then defiantly claw slashes deep into the bark. His scent was everywhere and so was Kimani’s. After the Lynx attack, he persuaded himself that scenting the borders more often than needed would be the first deterrent, his constant patrolling, especially during nighttimes, was vigilant and unprovoked though, it seemed he had killed the resident Lynx.

The thought didn’t make him smile though; he knew soon enough one would move into its cold den and make it comfortable. Plague quivered, thinking of the number of pups inside the pack, the number of easy targets that any Lynx would salivate over. It sickened him to think of the consequences and a sudden frustration bubbled up in him, causing him to over claw the bark and rip off branches that got in the way. Plague trotted throughout the wooded areas of Andere, weaving expertly through its random maze of coniferous towers. There scent made up part of the scent that all the pack members held, a more, piny, woodland smell. It was kind, yet mysterious land, it seemed darker under the woods and Plague was still adjusting to the sudden change in light levels. He stopped every now and again to mark the border, but soon found a newcomers scent wafting to him from further along. He stopped marking the baby saplings and broke into a lope towards the scent of a fae.

He arrived soon, making no useless attempt to sneak up on her. His banner had become accustomed to curling high over his spine, as had his head being held proudly, not in defiance, just a the normal alpha stance. Plague was very proud of his pack and the members that it contained, it contained no slacks or betrayers, like the last brute he’d simply disposed of and as much as it disgusted him to say it, he was glad Kenji was dead. He’d only end up running someone else’s life if he weren’t. He stopped several lynches short of the fae, himself observing her ivory delicate frame, through she already held a full winter plumage which made her look bigger in some respects. She was, in physical build, pretty much the opposite of Plague. She had now submitted as he approached her, which gave her a good first impression in his mind.
She seemed to know what to do; he liked that in a pack wolf.

Welcome to Andere Seite. You may rise.

After she had arisen, he spoke again, his calm, leathery tones very emotionless, but somehow calming. His muddy pools observed her every blink, judging 24/7.

I am Plague, king of Andere Seite, Kimani is your Queen.

He paused, s smile growing on his maw.

What is your name?

He waited patiently for her name, letting his rump meet the ground; he was in no hurry to leave from what could be an interesting conversation.
