As I'm typing this we're still in the process of switching versions, but it shouldn't take much longer.
We've changed versions slightly early - the actual IC plot which leads to this should be coming very soon, so keep your eyes fixed on the Silver Cove. If you want, you can play as if Mallos has already gone.
Temporary familiars will vanish with Mallos, so they'll be deleted from the database. If you want them back, you'll have to trade a coin for them. Temporary curses that Mallos gave out will also be removed. :)
As for the advent calendar - some people have been saying that it isn't fair on the non Brits because I operate on GMT time. As I've already said, the advent squares will be posted at different times of the day - so I might post one at 11PM GMT, when all the Brits have gone to bed and the non Brits are about. I've made plans to do a few in the early hours of the morning my time. Obviously, today was the one exception - we were just catching up on lost days today.
That was my solution to the problem - if you have a better one or you're still unhappy, please feel free to talk to me about it.
