Freebies are often granted to "all active characters". A character is considered active if it has made an IC post within the last 2 weeks. Posts made after the freebie was posted do not count.

Advertising is now back to 1 point per ad.
However, referrals are now worth +15 points permanently. Remember that for a referral to count, the person you referred must have posted at least twice in character.
The next 10 characters to join receive +20 free points.
There's also going to be a competition to make the new advert HTML. I will provide a written ad soon - all you have to do is pretty up the text by creating a fancy bit of HTML and/or picture. It should have:
- Space for me to write the advert.
- The name 'Shaman' and URL, 'www.shamanrpg.net' as well as two clickable links back to the site (open in new window/open in same window).
- A link directly to the spam board for lazy advertisers.
All entrants will receive +10 points for all characters per entry and the prize for the winner will be +1 coin.
