During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The others continued on with their introductions, even new arrivals appeared on the scene to approach the alphas. Overall, Kong felt it was a good turn out. There was new members being added to the pack left and right, something that would make him uncomfortable if it continued of course. After all, he'd wanted a small pack to become a part of. A duchess submitted to Paranoia and Angel and Kong felt his friend Kalgalath tense beside him. A sideways glance told him the brute knew this minx and he felt his scars pull into a small smile of understanding. Probably friends on the verge of mate hood. Something he always liked to see. It was the promise of a future full of love and happiness. This would be a good sign for the beginning of a pack. His roving gold orbs fell next on the colorless brujo who had called himself The Eleventh Plague. Kong was at once interested. After all, who would call their pup that? He must have an interesting backdrop behind him. Kong set that thought aside to investigate later.

He wasn't sure how the solitary looking creature took to male company, but hell, it was worth a try. He had noted the friendly smile Paranoia had given him in his quest for approval from her after speaking. It had swept hope into his heart to see her still so open with him. He was beginning to think their conversation earlier was just a hoax to make him welcome. After all, the duchess and her pearly brother beside her looked total opposites right now before the pack. She was lovely as ever in all her majesty, making orders and beng polite in every respect. Meanwhile her shadow looked restless and observant, some of the looks he gave was like he wanted to eat them. Kong felt no fear looking at Angel, but he sure as hell felt respect. This one would be one to follow. He would be the pack's protector. He fit the role to a tea. Maybe he wasn't the most welcoming of statues, but he had his sister to take up the slack on that one. All he had to do was decide they're worth it to enter.

Paranoia went along with business smoothly, letting the new arrival know she would have to submit first. True, it might be a little more public with the eyes of all her potential pack mates watching, but it would show true respect to the alphas to throw your surrender flag up now. For Kalgalath's sake beside him, Kong hoped the dryad would do as asked without trouble. He hoped for her sake too, as Paranoia's other half seemed a little more excited that usual, leaning forward till he looked like a snake poised and ready to strike. As soon as the snowy alphess had made her statement to the girl, she turned her gaze over the rest of her loyal subjects and spoke. This small speech was for dismissal and Kong bowed his pate in obedience. He didn't know what he would do for now but he was sure he could find something to hold his attention.

He would have liked to stay and find another moment or two with Paranoia, seeing as he was sure she still had so many questions for him as did he. But he could wait and be patient. After all, she would have more important things to do. Get to know the new arrivals, find out for sure if they'll fit in here. Angel looked ready to rest and she would probably follow shortly. He was sure the jezebel was exhausted from all her running around on the borders. He would wait. When the time was right, she would come to him. He felt a growing friendship starting with the belle and appreciated it fully. He brought his weight up onto all four pedates, dipping his crown low again for respect toward the alphas and turned his massive bulk away slowly. Maybe he could explore the lands here some more, get to know his home better. He used to always like finding the secrets of his old pack. This one would be no different. Just more time to find them without the hassle of alpha duties too.

He would have waited up for his friend Kalgalath but had a feeling that titan had already picked out who he would be talking to. Kong secretly wished the two lupines luck in their endeavors. It would be good to see some truly happy faces around here. Paranoia had seemed pleasant enough, but deep sadness lay behind the serene mask. Her brother didn't seem so good at hiding his own inner turmoils, but for all Kong knew that could be his mask. He wondered what interesting things this new world of his would hold and how long he'd be around to enjoy them. He didn't plan on leaving, that's for sure.
