During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

I found myself wanting to leave, needing to move. The attention that had gathered made me feel as though I were drowning, the pressure dragging me deeper and deeper underneath into my own personal pool of sins, the type that grabbed on and refused to let go. For another time in the short few days I’d been alpha I wondered again if I was fit for the job, but knew soon enough everything would fall into place. We’d grow into a comfortable routine, everyone would eventually fall into their roles and the pack would sort itself out in a sense. Until the though I wasn’t going to leave Paranoia with everything to handle herself, I was a gentleman. At least I tried to be.

Either way I had ducked my head in a farewell, returning a half effort smile to the one that stretched her scars from one cheek to another. We were like ying and yang, but I knew there was more to the demoness below the surface than what she led on and showed. I wasn’t going to question her kind motives though, knowing she wanted a change from what used to be, knowing she was trying to do right by not just herself but also for me.

Deserted.
I guess it was a good description to how I felt, but I hid it with an emotionless mask.

So far we had a fair few members and I didn’t want to blow the number out of proportion, a small pack with stronger members was better then a large one with multiple dumb ones. So when that unusual brute, The Eleventh Plague, howled a statues report, I found myself heading in that direction rather than my previously planned place where I was going to rest. Have a break from reality. Instead I was going to decide the fate of one.. No, now two feminiques. Oh how dandy; I had no idea if these wolves were really interested in a pack or in becoming a mate to my sister or myself. We were both single and alphas after all, so one would take reign eventually if they gained a mate. I knew though that whether it be her or I to first befall such a fate, although I doubted it would be myself, that we would still rule evenly. Paranoia didn’t care about that when it came to family, nor did I. She was my own family I knew of at the moment however, so I didn’t have to stretch that worry out very far.

My paws felt somewhat lighter now as I parted from the group, feeling much better by myself. Of course I was heading towards three other wolves, one already being a member. He had said that the first wolfess didn’t submit upon arrival, but from the lack of fore-knowledge about the second one, I was guessing she’d gone along with the movement of survival and dropped herself to the ground. When I drew close, my answer became apparent and I stood for a moment, knowing they’d probably be able to sense eyes on them.

All the better to watch you with, ladies.
And gentleman.

It took me about three minutes to finally take a breath and draw myself without any sort of hesitation forwards. I let a snarl lace my jowls, but nothing serious. I snapped my pearls together once as a sort of threat, showing just what I wouldn’t think twice about to do if they even dared speak out of line right now. I let my mismatched gaze run along every curve of the two submitting, first long the tall feminique who would match my height without falter, and then along the second. From her I moved my skull in TEP’s direction and gaze a nod, thanking him formally before turning back towards the two. I decided to address the second lady first, mask emotionless, eyes telling all.

‘You may stand, welcome to Munashii Gekko.’

I waited a moment for that to sink in before I turned towards the one left laying, jaws once more turning into something you’d see before you died - A dangerous animal from a horror film, preparing to rip your throat out. For some reason I found it fitting this moment perfectly. Not promising any deaths just yet though. I spoke loud enough for both females to know I was aiming this at the two of them,

‘I am Angel and my sister, alphess around here is Paranoia. Of course if you had any real interest in joining my pack you would have known as much. But you, little lady, I hear you didn’t have any real interest at all.’

This time I looked towards the other two wolves, the ones who were safely members and now on the other side of the line. They were fellow pack mates to me now, and I decided this involved them too.

‘What do you think I should do with her?’
