Bullet was quite happy to see her at least nibbling at the meal he had delivered … its silvery scales disappearing beneath her teeth. He cared a great deal for his friend … a very great deal. Enough to say he didn’t look at her as only a friend anymore. That was old news; those were the feelings of his yesterdays. The tan and black brujo had never been in love before, but somehow he knew this was it. Such a strong connection he felt to the female … more than just wishing her to be well. He wanted her happiness and to terminate anything that might take that away from her. It was so very strong a feeling, more than he ever imagined it might be. For such a self defined bachelor, his heart was having a world of trouble explaining this to his mind. Perhaps if he thought he had a chance of spending forever with her … if she showed some sign of it. His black auditories remained swiveled in her direction … after all, he had asked her something, and he knew that once her thoughts were gathered, she would answer. He simply knew this from speaking with her before. From being friends with her … from just being with her. He knew her, and he knew that she knew him just as well. It was almost and unsettling sort of feeling, but perfectly right just the same.

"Bullet...I think we should talk. I mean, well, we need to talk.."

Her sweet lyrics seemed to mirror his very thoughts. It brought a wry smile to his lips, though as he hugged her she wouldn’t be able to see it. Though as he began to reply, he pulled his skull backward to look into her jade eyes. His own eyes must seem so dull, he thought. Hers were these dazzling jewels and his were just brown. Side of a Bullet nodded slightly in agreement. He wanted her to go on … his chocolate occuli were practically pleading for more. Indeed, they needed to talk … though he doubted about the same things. Now that he thought of it, she and Blaez had seemed rather close. Perhaps she planned to confess her love for that male, before going off to find him and tell him herself. And Bullet would always love her just the same, but of course could never take it further. Never anything to trouble her mind over. He had decided from when he first met her over a year before in Bright Moon that he would never cause her any distress. Though then it had simply been because of his nature as a gentleman. Now it was more … so much more.

Kunikpok then leapt off of her stone perch and onto his level. A small amount of snow splattered from beneath her delicate paws. He so badly wished to just tackle her and plant her cheeks with thousands of kisses … but now was time to be serious, right? As she pressed their bodies together; circling like a hunter circles its prey, everything seemed so surreal. Perhaps the snow was taking effect … or the fact that he was alone with his only love in such a secretive little clearing. Her pelt felt so fine against his … they meshed and felt like velvet against velvet. Her touch made his insides tremble, and loins ache. Kunikpok was perfect … she was, and deserved better than some ragged male like him. Oh sure, he tried, but could never be good enough for her. She stopped at his side, and his skull turned so he could see her beautiful face; her delicately fine features. When she sat, she put her muzzle beside his ear, and he obliged, lowering it slightly so he would be able to take in every word … every sound uttered from her throat. He truly wanted all her could get from this female. Her breath sent a hot, pleasurable tickle into his lobe, causing it to flicker once or twice.

"You want to know what's going on?--Everything? Well, even though I'm still slightly confused on about everything..I think I can easily be sure of one thing--but it's a secret"

Bullet grinned, this one where she could see it. It was obvious she meant what she was saying … there was definitely something she needed to say. But her mood wasn’t solemn … quite the opposite, and he was feeding from those vibes. Kuni walked so they were facing each other, and he remained unmoving. His breath increased a bit from apprehension, though one could only see this in a slightly larger puffy cloud forming around his snout as he breathed. It was rather chilly weather, enough for large flakes to be falling all around them. She pressed down lightly on his muzzle and he followed her lead … their necks lowering so the tops of their muzzles touched and their eyes were locked into each other. He felt himself drowning … not only in her eyes, but in the entire moment. As if gravity had let go of him, and now she was all that held him to the snow covered earth.

“I love you”

Bullet felt like something inside him burst and released a zillion butterflies. He felt like if they weren’t touching, he might have lifted off into the sky. Without hesitation, he pushed his back limbs and reared up. Landing on her – gently – Bullet landed so he was standing above her lying body … laughing in such a blissful way like he hadn’t laughed in so long. As he tackled her, he was smothering her with kisses, and even as they both became covered with the ivory powder. When his pink muscle grew tired, he let his legs give out while rolling over so he landed on his back beside her, still chuckling deep in his throat. Looking sideways, he grinned at her … this had to have been the most playful she had ever seen him … an almost childish sparkle was in his brown eyes.

Guess what … I love you too. So very, very much I do.

Though his voice was cheerful, it was obvious he meant it. Every single word released from his lips. Then again, he would never lie to her, and she knew that. His smile was so large that sparkling pearls could have been seen from miles away. Her position from when he had tackled her would have her on her back, and now he lay on his right beside her. If they were a human couple, it would look as though they were about to make snow angels. He didn’t need to make a snow angel though … he had a real one all to himself.
