This is a prairie with very tall grasses. It is easy to hide here, so long as you aren't a dark colored wolf. Hunters come here often though.
The northern edge of the prairie is boarded by a lower stretch of the Ochotona Mountains. To the west, there lies a mixture of deciduous and coniferous forests, while the eastern edge is bordered by shorter grass prairies and then tundra. To the north east are the Eskers. And in the south, Requiems River runs horizontally, bordering the Prairie until it loops down again on its journey towards the sea.
Hear My Song.

Blacksong had come here to catch a rabbit or two to compy his father's wishes. Simply to get away from pack life for a bit as well. The new arrivals were still getting used to the place, and everyone was on edge trying to learn where they stood. It was a little annoying honestly, so Blacksong decided to take a break from the pressure. He had told his father where he was going, and Gold had simply asked for Blacksong to bring a snack or so back for his mother to eat. So this was why he was hunting a rabbit, simply to get it done with first before he rested in peace. The place was crawling with rabbits, so it shouldn't of been too hard to find one to catch. Just as he thought this he caught wind of one, and than he made his move, creeping toward it. A adult brown one, who was trying to dig up some roots. It had been so busy digging, that it hadn't noticed the predator until it was nearly upon him. Blacksong charged at the last minute possible. Taking the right turn as it did corectly, and sinking his teeth in, soon the chase was over before it hardly began. Picking up his prize he made his way to a tree, to rest under. His body barely panting, but he was still young at adult teen, and not completely used to the stama, so he was a little out of breath. Sitting down he began to clean the blood from his paws and maw. Blacksong was nearly all white like his grandfather, Windsong, his eyes are gold. The only different between him and Windsong was that he was shorter and lighter, but very strong. He was almost at his full weight 125 lbs and height 36 inches.
