Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

I put a secret paw up to nudge the pup...she started to climb, although I don't think it was at my help. Still my paws may not have been as quiet this mountain's rocks was easy to step on for me. As I carefully looked from rock to rock...planning my next step was getting easier as my climb went on. It was silent, a snow crunch here and there but still rather silent, stealth was something I had missed...but in running I had learned to watch my steps...and to step with quiet intent.
