During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The day light and bird's song had quickly shifted to navy lighting and lonly owl's cries. Which bothered me, it hit a raw nerve. Every hoot, was a stab at my patheitic facade' at calm and in control. My paws sunk in each pad of the quick stepped beat I had been traveling since early this morning. No I didn't ache. Yet. I would, but not yet. Not while the scent of fresh pine and brisk wind hit my face, pushing the heavy amount of brown fur that covered my face. The scents hadn't shown any sign of wolf for maybe five hours, until a sharp and thick pang of a marking scent caught me off guard. It was strong. So it was fresh. I decided to slow, my flying romp to a small little bounced trot, then after a few moments to a slow paced walked. My snout highering into the air, floppy dark audits rose for alertness. With each powerful strike of a small paw the scent was only stronger. I lowered my nostrils low to the ground, sniffing the Earth before taking a step. My mud colored banner was flagging my search. Soon enough my bodice lightly panged into a tree. Which had antler scatches on it. My large pastel blue optics peered around me, ears flat for a moment. A sharp howl errupted and my audits bounced up as soon as I heard it. Wolves, a pack . . . Hmmm should I join? I pondered and decided that what I should do was tell of my presence. I could see knawed on deer bones now. It made me smack my chops together out of hunger. Quickly I stopped myself. And sat on my rump. With one carefully thought out moment's time had passed I threw my neck back and let out a long and sweet melody of the wolf. Only hemed in a tone only a female could do. And soon after I stopped and sat still, barely breathing. My audit's flicking all directions. One could pop out from anywhere in this thick brush, or worse a pack could pop out all out once and I would need to be prepared. Just in case. A light breeze ruffled my silky chocolate coat, my spikes raised at the lightest scent of other wolf. Stay calm, I couched myself. Then begining to count my heart beats the spikes that had rose, flattend. I picked up light thuds of paws coming forward. This was it and I sighed a bit shakey and a bit ready.
