During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The little blizzard

The little white pup's towers swiveled at the sound of the alphess' orders. Casey and his brothers who had not already fled were to die, but she had granted him a pardon. She had spared his life. Aindreas froze as the large brute, whom he vagued recalled being dubbed Kalgalath, lunged at him, but instead of attacking him, leapt over him to clamp his jaws onto Casey, the fae who had adopted him. Then, out of nowhere, another fae jumped out and also attacked Casey, this one ripping out her jugular. The arterial spray landed upon Aindreas' white coat, speckling it with blood. His dark blue orbs watched as Casey's lungs let out their last breath, and then caught the movement of his three brothers running away from the terra, fleeing for their lives.

Previous in his life, he had been ripped away from his blood family by a storm, swept downstream by the turbid waves. Now, he had seen his adoptive mother ripped to shreds. Aindreas' mind ran wild, trying to think of what he should do... but then, his maw opened slightly. "I'm... alive." In that one instant, Aindreas lost his innocence and his puphood. The harshness and brutal honesty of life settled upon him, not unlike a blanket that is cozy, yet is a little too tight. As his tongue lolled out of his mouth to clean the blood off of his coat, he tasted his first taste of fresh blood. The coppery taste was tangy in his mouth, and once he had finished, he turned away from the carcass of his adoptive mother and walked toward the alphess, his frame lowering slightly as he extended one front leg to bow to her. Casey had adopted him, but Paranoia had saved his life. "I swear fealty to you.. my queen." The words were soft, audible only to his towers and he imagined hers as well.

OOC- just FYI he is now a teen. seemed like a good time to have him age.
