The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

OOC: lol, whatever you want XD

Sol watched with vague amusement as his words reached Nephthys's ears and the reaction was immediate. A protective step towards her son, her muscles tensening even further and a look of pure motherly fury entered her icy pools. Yet Sol was strangely delighted by her passionate emotions. The emotion was so full of energy, so full, it excited his blood and he had to fight surprisingly hard to keep a grin of pure hellish delight off of his face. Then a look of surprise flickered through her jewels as the last words of her own threat echoed in the air. Her words were harsh and demanding as she asked, obviously unsettled, how he knew her name. Nephthys's mismatched pools drifted away from his as her gaze became very far away though he knew that she would snap back at the slightest of movements from him. She was lost in the darkest reaches of her mind, Sol knew it, he had seen her this way many times before. Though Nephthys's question was still waiting for an answer Sol guessed that she was not done speaking so he simply stood there and feigned a look of polite interest. He did not doubt that his nonchalant expression would only further irritiate the wolfess and to any outsider looking in they would probably view him as a purely suicidal wolf. Maybe he was. Without a warning, Nephthys's head snapped back towards him and her iciness returned. His fluffy ears perked to catch her words. Of course he knew that he had threatened her people and son, of course he knew that he was not helping his case and of course he knew that he had given her a real reason not to like him. That was fine. Sol knew all of those things already, Nephthys could have spared him the chitchat. As if she could read his thoughts, her muscles tensened and her knees bent, obviously ready to spring. Yet something was holding her back, she looked at him as if she was tyring to figure him out. Good luck.

Well, at least now we are on the same page. I must confess that I was somewhat confused by your instant dislike of me.

His tone was pleasant, as if they were having a chat about the weather. Now it was time to answer her question. Not the truth of course, perhaps not even an answer at all. After all, if she pounced on him the true reason would spill from his lips before she took his last breath. He would throw her off him if that was what was needed in order to have his final words. The subtlest of smirks caused the corner of his lips to twitch upwards in cruel mockery of joy. He shrugged, only adding to the vagueness of his response. It was the complete opposite of the intensity in his gaze.

I like to know a little bit about a pack before I approach it's borders.

It was only a half-answer, it still did not answer who he had gotten the name from or when. However, it was an answer that some wolves may be satisfied with, it didn't really matter if Nephthys was satisfied with it or not, she looked ready to rip his throat out anyways. Sol, however, was not finished. He had not yet answered her threat. His pleasant smile returned and he shrugged again, as if the outcome of the situation meant very little to him.

Well, I shall certainly try though I'm afraid I cannot make any promises. Instincts have a bothersome habit of overcoming the mind sometimes, you know?

However, I do have a question for you before you...release me from life's chains, if you don't mind. I have to wonder, if you so disliked me from the moment you saw me, why didn't you just tell me to get lost? You have the authority and force to do that.

Sol briefly gestured to the two males behind Nephthys who could have assisted even if he had been a moron and stuck around. Sol's head tilted to one side as he politely waited for her to either answer his question or shred his pelt. His icy blues, the only part of him which still looked exactly like Eclipse, gazed intently into those of his former beloved.
