During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The ebony hunter made his way around the pack borders, pendulum and dial left down in the omega position. He was really starting to get concerned about the whereabouts of his alphas and wondering when they would be coming back to Munashi Gekko. He hoped they would be pleased with all he'd done. Accepting three wolves so far and the pack was thriving with activity, probably ranked pretty high in the most active wolves in Blossom Forest. From what he'd seen of them, they looked worthy enough to join the ranks and he would be disappointed in himself if Paranoia or Angel found fault where he had missed it. He had gone by his own expectations as a former alpha himself, though that was not relevant here. Here, he was just another wolf in the pack. True, the first wolf to join since Paranoia took off the territory but still just an omega like the rest of the wolves here.

The only privilege he had so far was the fact that he could accept and/or deny wolves at the border from entry into the ranks of the pack. Paranoia had left him with that honor before her and her brother disappeared from view. He couldn't even count how many moons it had been since he'd seen them last. They left not too much after the pack meeting. He hoped there would be something good like a pack hunt or something to look forward to when they got back. His stomach was starting to growl at just the thought. He had been taking on little hares and a weak fawn every once in a while to fulfill his appetite, Kong was not weak in the skill of hunting, but a pack hunt to take down something big like a mature older elk or something was sounding better by the day. He also wanted to get to know his other pack mates more than he did so far but it seemed as soon as he settled down with one new entry, another was howling for his attention and he had to leave, duties and all that.

As it were, he was glad for the break he was getting now. It had been some time since his last acceptance of the fae Callisto. She was certainly a strange one but he deemed her harmless and well meaning so far. If she stayed under the care of Crazy Angel, he had faith in her learning quickly the skills of a pack wolf. She seemed a little ignorant in that respect but if she planned on staying long, she would have to learn quick. He hoped for his own sake that she would. It would probably be his skull on a platter if she didn't meet up to snuff. He padded along softly, his large jet paws barely making a sound in the thin shade of snow that covered the soft ground. Winter was going good so far, with his thick death kissed fur surrounding him, he was warm and cozy in this suit. Audits pricked as the familiar sound reached his ear drums. Another caller on the border, another new face to meet. He headed in that direction, flag waving silently behind his carcass.

Finally he came into sight of the femme and frowned slightly. She seemed sad, her whole bodice slumped like a lost puppy. What was this? He wasn't used to such a presentation for a wolf asking acceptance. Did she expect him to pity her and let her in? True, Kong was a soft hearted beast but he wasn't a charity and neither was Munashii. This was a pack for warriors, not weaklings. Sure the huntress might be a sight to behold once she eat something and gained a little more fire to her orbs but until then she was not in his definition of pack material here. Even so, he made his way over, recognizing the searching gaze in her windows. It looked like she was expecting someone to come, maybe not even him. Well of course not him cause he wasn't the alpha and that's who they usually expected but something told him she wasn't waiting on an alpha either. He figured he'd just have to wait and see. Nearing her, he stopped a few feet away on the other side of the border and spoke after tipping his crown in greeting.

Hello there, miss. I am King Kong, omega of Munashii Gekko. What brings you here? You look like you're expecting someone. Might I know him or her?

Cocking his crania to the side slightly in curiosity, he waited for the belle's answer.
