The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Her head was raised at the sound of another approaching. Baroq's form came into view as she felt his loving caresses. She giggled as a smile came to her maw as her gray and white body rolled over to face him from where he was. Auds turned in his direction to catch his lyrics better as he spoke.

(" Madame wishes to dine?" )

A nod was given in the best way she could while he was rubbing his head upon hers. She would enjoy this, they could talk and eat together. A glance was given to her stomach where she could feel a pup's paw dig into her side, like a kick. Her stomach protruded slightly more from where it had happened. At his sigh, she looked up worry on her face. She could sense something was upsetting him. Her maw parted about to ask what was the problem when he spoke. She stood and moved forth to lay her body as close as possible to him so he would feel comforted.

("Jewel, I’ve got rather bad news about my brother, it seems he has lost his mate and two of his pups to a vicious male. Justice was done, however. ")

"I'm sorry for this loss, my love. But I am glad they got the murderer. I pray we don't have to worry about that. Do you think your brother's going to be able to make it?"

She felt sorry for Baroq's brother and his family. Jewel asked the last question because she knew how close her mate and brother were, and she hoped that he wouldn't lose his brother. After all they had only just made up a some seasons ago. The pain they must be going through. She looked to him when he spoke again, and her voice wasn't too far behind.

(" I still think we should go and see him after the pups are born, I know he will need time- by himself. Perhaps we could ask the alpha if we could stay there a while with him. I don’t want you to travel too much." )

"Of course. We can go as soon as your ready, and when you think he can handle it. Perhaps you can get some help in the father department dear."

The last part was a little joke to him, to hopefully lighten the mood a little. Although she didn't move yet. Her head nuzzled into his shoulder a little, her tounge giving him a few licks in reassurance now and then. She didn't mind him feeling concerned over her. God knows she was doing it to him when he was ill. Besides she actually liked it. She wondered for a moment if he meant stay there for awhile before or after the pups were born. Ignoring that for now, she listened to him speak again, her emrald orbs half closed.

(" It could be fun. " )

She pondered this for a moment before she spoke, her voice mischevious. Her head turned in his direction to watch him as she did. She stretched her front legs out enjoying the way they popped, easing the tension in them from her walk earlier.

"I'm sure it would be."

Leaning her head toward the rabbit after Baroq torn it open, she dug her fangs in getting the good parts. The heart, lungs, a few muscle meats. She ate some of the heart, before looking to Baroq as if asking if he wanted any. She knew the heart was the best part, and she wouldn't mind sharing it with her mate. Her tounge came out to lick a trace of blood off her bottom jaw.

"How's the pack doing?" She spoke trying to start conversation again. Besides she was curious, pregnancy wasn't the best right now since she didn't know what was going on with everything. It wasn't easy getting around everywhere, and she hadn't seen much company lately. She hardly traveled too far from the den, knowing that she could go into labor any time really. It wouldn't be too much longer. She waited for Baroq's reply.
