The Alleys

These are the Back Streets. This is a part of the town that is rather run down and full of twisting alleys and streets bordered by crumbling buildings. This is where the packs of dogs and stray animals hang out most of the time. It is possible for you to find a mate here that is a dog, although it is hard. There is some food, but it is still very dangerous. A lot of times, humans here will capture wolves and keep them as guard animals, or for dog fighting clubs.

At first, the old hybrid thought of Dawn, the adopted daughter that Bullet was tending to like one of his own. If it had been Dawn that they were after, the beta would have immediately denied their request, as softly as he could. Bullet needed her as much as she needed a supportive parent, and he wasn't going to see that broken. But Vagabond...? He was tempted to go seek out Lyckos, and arrange to have the young one returned to the Silver Glades if their leader agreed, but this plan was halted when Auri showed up.

He studied the coywolf briefly and considered the tones in her voice. Then he looked back to Tanya and Har, "Vagabond has been with us for some time, long enough to develop a strong relationship with this pack. I don't think it would be good for him or us to take him away now. I'm sorry, but he must stay here." Because these were allies that he was dealing with, the beta was polite in his reply, but firm enough to let them know he wasn't going to be dissuaded from his decision.
