Triumphant Glory sighed as she weaved through the trees, her nostrils inhaling the fresh scent into her lungs, her hooves crushing the fallen leaves on the floor below. This was once her home, her herd large but close, everyone taking care of everyone else. But now it was empty, and it saddened her that she was the only one left. She started as the silence was broken, by a long, loud call that could only have come from a stallion. Her heart began to race as she rushed towards the sound, her mind scrambling to grasp the fact that more equine were coming to Libre, returning the land little by little to the beauty that it once was. As she approached the stallion, she lowered her head subserviently, showing that she was aware that the stallion was the dominant one.

Greetings, sir stallion, and welcome to Libre. I am Triumphant Glory, and I'm one of the only survivors of the time before. Where you stand is of course the South Island and it was once my home. She smiled, showing nothing but gratitude to the stallion. I do not wish to take the lead from you, and only hope that you will allow me to remain here, and become part of your herd. I will, unfortunate though it may seem, continue to greet any newcomers to these lands, so that history may not repeat itself, and that Libre may remain the peaceful land I once knew it to be.

Glory bowed her head again, and waited for the stallion to speak. It didn't matter whether or not he was mean or crude. Only that he allow her to remain here, among the trees and sounds that reminded her so much of her childhood and the peace that was with it.
