Dear Gasoline,

Relax Gasoline, sooner or later the Post Standard will notice that the Times of London had a major article on the Chinese investments, then they will notice that the New York Times had a similar article and only then will it be deemed politically correct to expose the naive upstate serfs to this kind of subversive information.

Realize how politically incorrect it has been to suppose that the Chinese could actually think about investing – it goes against the grain of the progressive crowd’s newly rediscovered idol, Chairman Mao. This group has blinded themselves to the fact that China has embraced capitalism as a way to grow for nearly 20 years – the liberal/progressives simply do not believe it because it flies the face of liberal orthodoxy. In the meantime the Obama administration is working hard to copy the Chinese and destroy capitalism and job growth through increased taxation and regulation in this part of that world.
This in the apparent belief that soon we can all (or at least all of the intellectually superior (i.e. non-pickup and non-Geo drivers)) work for the government and therefore be pure.

The sad part is that they see no irony in these views. Just read the editorial page in the Post Standard and observe the clueless ramblings.
