Freebies are sometimes posted on this board. Please be aware that a freebie can only be claimed up to one week after it was posted.
Freebies are often granted to "all active characters". A character is considered active if it has made an IC post within the last 2 weeks. Posts made after the freebie was posted do not count.

Current syst: Only the official territory leader should be able to obtain and use LP [current system].
Leader +1 co leader: Only the official territory leader + 1 other co-leader should be able to obtain and use LP.
All terra members: All members of a territory should be able to obtain and use LP.
Everyone: All characters, including homeless ones, should be able to obtain and use LP.
Territories not leaders: LP should not be granted to territory leaders, but rather to territories; each individual territory should have its own LP.
LP from advertising: You should be able to get LP from advertising. X ads = 1 LP.
LP from battling/deb: You should be able to get LP from battling/debating.
...you guys just love making my job hard, don't you? XD
hard to draw real conclusions from that - the current system was rejected, but then so was every other system i proposed. XP some of the suggestions people put forward have merit, some i don't like at all. here are the ideas i liked:
- territory leaders would have the ability to challenge each other for a set amount of lp (eg, 10). this would encourage a bit of rivalry too.
- i quite like the idea of lp being given out if you help an ally or hinder an enemy, but i'm not entirely sure how that would work, or what would constitute helping/hindering.
- winning the grand tournament and the omniety? ill look into it, but theyre not territory-based activities.
yeahh... you can already get lp for services to the core, theoretically, since the kaiser has the ability to grant land points. as for gaining members/having kids, surely there's already a reward in that in that you're gaining a member? why do you need to be rewarded for a reward? XP
i don't like the idea of trading lp for coins or gaining the ability to grant coins. at all. although officially only the territory leader can gain lp, in contests like the activity competition and the leadership challenge all members of a territory help to get lp, so that kind of seems like everyone in a territory is working so that one person can get a coin at the end. as for ability to grant coins... too deityish, sorry guys, and too much power attached to it. youd need like 500 lp for me to allow that, and even then youd be limited in the coins you can grant ;P
im going to go and post some proposed changes on ooc for you to discuss/vote on. yeah. ^^
