Basically those 2 teams - to me - are the same. What it came down to was the ACC being the stronger rated conference and Duke being in 1st in the conference by a larger margain. Purdue has a 1/2 game lead right now and Duke a 1-1/2 game lead. This was one of the hardest decisions for me this whole year and if both win out - it'll be tough to figure out which is the final #1. The committee in the past has favored teams from higher rated conferences when it comes to seeding disputes and I think that might happen now. I will say that I AM a Duke fan but don't let that play a part in my decision making - I dislike Kentucky with a passion and would love for them to be seeded 12 - but I just try to do what I think the committee would do. Thanks for the return visit - and don't hold it against me too much - by Saturday this could all change.
