+ Yanagi Omoide
+ Male
+ Yanagi is a slender man, with limbs that seem out of proportion and long for him at such a short height. As he grows levels he will even out to become a tall man with a slim body. His face is long and angular, and the sharp panes stick out noticeably due to his pale skin. His eyes are a piercing blue, bordering on the pale side. There is the vaguest hint at asian ancestry near his eyes, but it isn’t noticeable unless you’re looking for it. His hair, when unbound, reaches past his shoulders and hangs straight. He keeps it tied back in a low tail almost constantly. It is apparent that he dyed it a stark white, a color similar to bleached bone, for his roots show some black. But because he’s in Shaman now, it’ll just stay awesome and white forever once he goes up a level. [Note: If his hair color must be normal until he is level two, it will be black.]
+ Due to an accident when he was younger, Yanagi’s voice has been reduced to a raspy baritone that can be uncomfortable to listen to for some.
+ 21
+ Yanagi loves people. He loves socializing and talking but mostly listening. He’s always curious to know about the life-stories of those he meets, and offers his shoulder to any who need one to lean on. He loves cuddling more than anything in the world. He can be reclusive at times and tends to be highly introspective at others, but he’s generally very outgoing and almost always in a good mood. Also, he plays the flute.
+ Yanagi has done a lot of traveling and is semi-fluent in the Japanese language, although he is no longer fascinated in the culture. The accident he was in occurred when he was just finished with high school and ended up taking the life of his best friend and mentor, and while it was traumatizing and life-changing in many ways (he used to be a singer- that is no longer possible) he is older and time has eased the biting pain of the memory.
+ Sample post:

It was late afternoon on a soggy day, with a uniform gray sky covering the soft blue that usually embraced the world. In a weeping willow grove considered secret by those who found it, a light rain fell. It was hardly more than a sprinkling of drops, but it had been falling for quite awhile and the grass was coated lightly with rain water. Most people would be at home, eyeing the drizzle with distaste. Most people weren’t Yanagi.

Most people also didn’t have a dragon; when all others were inside, this was the perfect time to spend time with his friend.

They were resting beneath a willow tree, catching their breath from a fierce game of chase-and-tackle, and they made quite a picture. The long youth with his head leaning back against the trunk, rain trickling down one side of his face as his wet hair stuck to the back of his neck, and one leg drawn up as the other stretched beside him. The dragon’s skull lay across Yanagi’s outstretched leg, and his eyes were half closed. Whereas Yanagi’s gaze was a cold, fierce blue, the drake sprawled elegantly beside him had eyes the color of the night sky, the ebony of his iris ringed with deep, deep blue.

“Call me arrogant, but you never would have caught me if I hadn’t tripped,” the man murmured, his words vaguely slurred. The drake shifted and brought his head up to stare indignantly at the man for a moment before getting to his feet. Perhaps the size of a small horse, he was slender and lithe. His scales were a deep swirling blue, comparable to a stormy sky about to release a torrent of rain, and his plated underbelly was an even darker shade. His clawed toes had a lighter blue webbing strung between them, proclaiming him a dragon more suited to the water than the air, although he had wings large enough to lift him and enable him to fly. Curling down his sinuous back were small ebony spines that ended at his spade-shaped tail. He was a beautiful creature to behold, and as he turned away from Yanagi with grace unmatchable by anything except perhaps a cat —or, if either of them dared to imagine it, another of his kind— to stick his head out from between the hanging branches of their willow tree, he poked Yanagi with his tail. The human batted it away, intending to rest, but the drake was persistent. He lifted his head and opened his eyes, glaring at the drake’s back.

“What?” He asked, refusing to move. In response, the dragon spread its wings, lifting the branches out of the way to give Yanagi a clearer view of the grove outside. The rain had increased, and even now Yanagi could feel it making it’s way through the branches to land upon his head.

:Come, Bond Brother,: the drake beckoned with his mind. Yanagi stood and stretched as the drake trotted outside without bothering to wait, the branches closing behind him. Yanagi had moved forward by then, intending to duck under the dragon’s wing and emerge into the fresh downpour, and met instead a face full of weeping willow branches. Spitting in disgust he pushed the branches away and emerged with a glare at the drake, who merely cocked his head. “You’re in for it now, you overgrown lizard,” Yanagi muttered before running forward. The drake danced away, and their game was in full swing once again.

+ Anything else you wish to include: Yes. Starshine and I came up with an amazing plot, and so I was wondering if Yanagi could indeed have that dragon familiar. Someone is going to attempt to rape Joey, but in will come Yanagi to save the day, with his trusty dragon to help because Yanagi isn't a particularly violent guy. And then... Then Yanagi has to live with the consequences of the clingy Joey, who will then adore him and never leave him alone ever out of gratitude. There'll probably be some deeper emotions going on, but that hasn't really happened yet so I dunno how he's going to feel about Joey both right after the incident and way down the line. And oh lord, that sample post is so old. x_X
