This is a large lake with many streams and marshes around it. There are, as the name might suggest, many pike here. This is a good place to hunt them! There are some dangerous things such as alligators, crocodiles, sharks, and snakes, which can survive in the vast lake thanks to the valley's extensive thermal features.
The lake is fed by Requiems River, which feeds into the northern end, coming straight from the Canyon. To the south end lies Galar's Marsh, which is also where the River channels out from. To the northeast is the Tall Grass Prairie.

Lacking the ability to smile in the same way that Galar did, it was always the raptor's eyes that best gave away his emotions, and he used that now to give Karai a quick wink before he delved into the talk with the pups. Between Reiki and Akembi, he could count on those two as being the more talkative and easily more excitable ones of the bunch, and with Reiki's penchant for saying more than he should, Zhen had an easy time of playing off their curiosity and keeping them entertained. And hopefully steered away from discussions about Karai's older litter. "Much, much bigger zhan cow horns! Bigger zhan zhis, even!" To make his point, the eagle stretched out his massive, sepia wings to impress on the pups how long of a horn he was talking about, "Zhey live vhere its cold, vhaaaay, vay out in zhe icy waters." Akembi took his turn to come up and nuzzle the eagle, harsh enough that the wedgie would have toppled back, if he hadn't caught himself with his wings first. "That's ridiculous. There's no such thing as whales with giant horns on their head!" The pup still couldn't picture what a 'roo' looked like, other than a creature with giant legs and a tail, and a baby that sat in a pouch on its stomach...? To him, most of what Zhen spoke of sounded like tall tales.
