2010 NCVA REUNION - Fredericksburg, Texas June 18th - 20th
As they might say in Fredericksburg - Willkommen!
We're excited to let you know that the 2010 NCVA Reunion will be held June 18th - 20th in
historic Fredericksburg, Texas, hosted by Lee and Martha Mobley.
Located in the Hill Country of Texas, Fredericksburg abounds with bed and breakfasts, abundant
hunting, fishing, antique stores and museums. The German influence shows in the form of
bakeries, restaurants, and stores. The Hill Country is famous for its many wineries and
vineyards. Of particular interest to Navy veterans, Fredericksburg was the birthplace of Admiral
Chester Nimitz, Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Pacific Forces in World War II. The hotel owned
by Nimitz's grandfather has been converted into a museum, named the "National Museum of the Pacific War",
honoring the men and women who served with Nimitz in the war. So you can see that there will be some
good sites to visit and some good eating in Fredericksburg.
Plans are in the works, but we can now let you know the motel that is booked for our NCVA Reunion.
Hotel arrangements have been finalized at the Peach Tree Inn and Suites, Fredericksburg, Texas, at a
very good cost of $69 a room. Deadline for reservations is June 1st.

We'll be keeping you updated by email as we get closer to the reunion date and let you know of various activities
in Fredericksburg that you might attend while at the reunion. So reserve those dates on your calendar now!
